About Us
We do Photojournalistic style event photography, meaning we will
capture the events of your particular wedding or event in addition to the
traditional formal shots. We do our best to be unobtrusive and concentrate
on events as they naturally occur rather more than on poses. |
|
Standard wedding service: |
|
|
Commences approximately 1
hour before the wedding at the Brides house for several pre-ceremony
shots. Then the service moves to the place of the ceremony with several
shots of the groom, ushers, and pre-ceremony activities. More
photographs are taken during the service (subject to permission of the
ceremony host) attempting to capture significant events of the services,
the Bridesmaids and the Groomsmen, Bride and Groom walking down the
aisle. After the service the group photographs are taken at the Church
grounds or at a nearby location or at the reception or a combination of
all three. At this point, the service moves to the reception. We
capture the first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, toast,
cutting of the cake and other points of interest during the reception.
Finally, we take several random, off-the-cuff photographs of the events
of the day in order to capture as many memories as possible. The service usually ends with the cutting of the cake. |

80’s. It is his passion and
hobby. Several of his friends got married in the mid-90’s.

the photography for them. It
turned out that Eric was able to out perform and provide better service than
commercial photographers charging $3,500-6,000 for their services.
To this day, Eric maintains value pricing to help out young couples by

Photographer Kelly Rhodes |
|
Joining Perfect Day
Photography in 2004, Kelly has been practicing the
art of photography since owning her very first Strawberry Shortcake camera
in 1986. Having been a Bridesmaid more times that she's willing to
admit, Kelly understands the importance of detail to a Bride and Groom. If
there's a hair out of place, a boutonniere pinned incorrectly or a slip
showing, she'll be sure to find it and fix it, for she's always
on the lookout for any imperfections that may hinder a perfect shot.
When she's not prepping you for a picture, Kel works for a center
city law firm in Philadelphia. |

Photographer
Shanna Kirwin |
|

|
Shanna Kirwin joined perfect day in 2005.
She fell in love with art in kindergarten when her teacher
asked for an original finger painting she did of just a face with legs
and circles for knees, which the teacher hung up over her desk.
Growing up, art became her passion taking classes inside and outside
school. She attended the
Art Institute of Philadelphia for Animation/Media Arts.
After college photography became an interest when she realized
she was taking more pictures than she knew what to do with them.
She was excited with her new hobby and started taking classes
and learning new things about Photography.
Shanna still taps into her illustration side but feels
there’s nothing better than capturing a memory with a picture! When
she’s not taking pictures or working at an insurance company Shanna
is planning her own wedding for November of this year. |
